Good morning biscuits

These fluffy biscuits were a true joy on a Sunday early afternoon. Especially for Primož, who came from an early morning cycling tour with his friends. We enjoyed these biscuits with blueberry sauce, figs and vegan cream cheese. But you can use any of your favourite toppings… So so delicious. They were also great the day after…

Making the biscuits

Ingredients (for around 8 biscuits)

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 85g vegan margarine
  • 3/4 cup oat milk

Method

  1. Take a tbsp milk from your milk and set aside.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a dough.
  3. Flour the working surface and roll over the dough.
  4. Pat the dough to around 1 inch tickness and cut about 8 pieces of 2 inch round shapes (diameter).
  5. Bake at 200°C until the top of the biscuits become golden(around 15minutes)
